With the clever install of SIG's Tenon office partition walls we converted a disused and neglected space into a professional working area for staff.
The Design Brief
Rodley Interiors was approached by a Product Manufacturing firm to support its plans to expand its operations to a larger floor space in Wakefield.
The project: installing office partition walls to create new office spaces and meeting rooms.
When selecting the right office partition walls for the space, we worked closely with our client to understand their preferences and the level of privacy and soundproofing required. The space was easy to work with due to its sizeable external windows, standard ceiling height and flush external walls.
Our client was keen to leave a large area open plan to create a product showroom for potential customers.
Double glazed office windows
Focusing on functionality, the offices were built to allow for the showroom in the centre. Privacy and high sound retention were important to our client. We installed Tenon Fire and Sound partitioning, and each office featured double-glazed windows to door height. To allow for privacy, the glass windows were fitted with tiltable internal blinds. The 25mm blinds are also a clever way to control the amount of light in any office space.
